Neck Tenon Fit – The neck tenon and receiver are fitted well and tightly without air leaks. We check them with Air Tester machine. *if your horn has air leak problem from the neck tenon, you will feel a dead vibration on your horn.

Disassembly and cleaning – After complete disassembly, the body and keys are fully cleaned by degreasing. Silver and nickel Keys are buffed and polished.

Dentwork – Minor dents are restored.

Tone Hole and Pad cup – All tone holes and pad cups are checked and leveled to be flat for nice pad settle.

Keywork – All keys are tightened by expand or swedge keys to reduce the key moving and prevent the breaking away of pad settle from the tone hole, which makes air leaks.

New pads – all pads are replaced with Ferree’s pads and plastic or metal resonators. Each pad is adjusted to be an optimal seal from front to back and side to side. We can use other pads (white or black kangaroo) by customer request.

New neck cork, New felts, New corks – All materials are replaced.

Spring Tension – All spring tension are readjusted as comfortable and right.

Oiling – Lube rods and screws are added with new oil.

Final Play Test – It is last step. We playtest every saxophone after the overhaul service is done to make sure everything is right.
 

Full Overhaul Service come with two years warranty on pads and other materials.
